I’m Rachel, 25 years old, currently residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Welcome to my messy little blog space on the interwebs. I live a pretty diverse, multi-faceted life, so therefore – my blogs are diverse!
I’m an educator, theater artist, Deaf Rights activist, CODA and an ASL interpreter, so those are typically the themes I’ll write about from time to time – along with whatever twenty-something themes I am just LIVING at the moment. In my professional life, I teach theater at The Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. Most recently, I got the absolute honor of working on Deaf West’s ground-breaking production of Spring Awakening as an Interpreting Intern and come Fall 2016, I’ll be hitting the road with the National Tour of The Sound of Music!
My first book about grief, loss and the gracefulness in losing a father is in the works and I’m already incredibly eager to share.
